Application

We appreciate your interest in becoming a Master’s Commission student! We want that this application process serves as a valuable tool in helping you, your church and us to prayerfully evaluate whether this is the right course for you at this time. With the decision made to take another step, let's roll up our sleeves and look at the process to become a student.

Handbook [pdf]

  1. Even before starting with the student application, read through the student handbook first which contains all information to help you to understand what a year for God at the Master’s Commission looks like.
  2. Prayerfully consider both the benefits and the commitment involved in becoming an MC-Student.
  3. Complete the main application form and sign it. Remove the four reference papers and return only the main application form together with passport-sized photos, the proof of insurance and a copy of school-diplomas to our office.
  4. Wire your 100 Swiss francs application fee to our bank account right after you have sent the application (see student handbook).
  5. Remove the parents’ reference form and submit it to your parents or your guardian. It is to be completed, signed and returned by your parents to us.
  6. Remove the pastors’ reference form and submit it to your pastor or youth- or assistant pastor. It is to be completed, signed and returned by your pastor to us.
  7. Remove the confidential references and submit to referring individuals (teacher, employer, mature Christian friend). Send the two reference forms to mature Christian friends to be completed, signed and returned to us.
  8. Continue to seek the Lord's will while we process your application.
  9. Once we have received your application, the MC-leader will contact you to set up a phone interview and explain the rest of the application process.
  10. Feel free to contact us at any time with your follow-up questions. We will be glad to discuss any issues with you. Please initiate these requests by email first and we will have a person from the staff contact you.
  11. Once you are accepted as a student for the coming year you should start the visa process (if you are a student from overseas). If you don’t have a valid passport (valid till 6 month after the end of the school), you need to get one.
  12. Start preparing yourself by reading the expected books.
  13. Pay the student tuition by the 1st of September.
  14. Buy your flight ticket only if you have received your visa.
  15. Get to Switzerland for an extraordinary year!
