There will probably not be another year with the Lord like this. On one hand, our father in Heaven is longing to meet his sons and daughters like never before. He wants to shape the student’s lives into the image He has made of them. He wants to build their character and share His good plans with them.
On the other hand, the students give up many things to participate at the school because they are desperate to know God more, to love Him and to make Him known. They are hungry and thirsty for a change in their lives. They long for lasting transformation.
The students leave their families, their churches and their friends. Young men and women are ready to get out of their comfort zone and leave a secure life. They invest a whole year, all their energy and a large amount of money into the school. In one way or the other God tests their willingness to lay down their lives for Him in asking them to pay a price. Some have given up their boy- or girlfriend, some put on ice their dream to go on missions, or some are laying down their ministry calling for the time of the school. We want to create an environment where God and nothing else can build the identity of the students. He wants to shake their lives so that the bad foundations crumble and the good stay firm so that the Lord can build on solid ground in their lives.
